RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing Frank Garcia for his years of service to the Anaheim community. (Requested by Council Member Leon)
Certificate: Recognizing Awards by Paul for their 45 years of business. (Requested by Council Member Faessel)
Certificate: Recognizing Green Bird for their 10 years of service to the City of Anaheim. (Requested by Mayor Pro Tem Rubalcava)
Certificate: Recognizing the 2023 graduates of the Emprendedor@s Program. (Requested by City Staff)
