SUBJECT: Development Agreement No. 99-1 – Notice of Public Hearing to Establish New Development Timeframes
Dear Mr. Patel, Mr. O’Connell, and Mr. Smith,
The City Council, at the December 5, 2023 meeting, determined that the GardenWalk Hotel I, LLC and Westgate Resorts Anaheim, LLC have not complied with the terms and conditions of the Development Agreement for this review period and directed staff to provide notice of the Council’s intent to establish new development timeframes at a subsequently-noticed public hearing. Said public hearing must be scheduled for a date within 45 days of this notice unless a later date is requested. The City Council will consider this item at a public hearing to be held on January 23, 2024 unless a continuation request to a date certain is received from you no later than Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Additional upcoming meetings are February 6, February 27, and March 19.
