RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, amend Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2023-105 which establishes dates and times of regular Council meetings for calendar year 2024 [rescheduling the regular meeting of February 6 to February 13, 2024].
DISCUSSION:
Near the close of each calendar year, City Council approves a council meeting calendar for the upcoming calendar year. City Charter Section 506 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month at such times as fixed by resolution.
At the November 28, 2023 meeting, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2023- 105, which established the days and times of regular meetings of the City Council. The item is being presented under City Manager authority to amend the Council’s regular meeting calendar at the request of a City Council Member. Exhibit A has been amended to cancel and reschedule the February 6 meeting to February 13, 2024.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
