RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing K&A’s 15th Annual Community Holiday Brunch. (Requested by Council Member Rubalcava)
Proclamation: Recognizing February 2024 as 2-1-1 OC Month and February 11, 2024 as 2-1-1 OC Day. (Requested by Mayor Aitken)
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
