RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Ordinance, amend Chapter 4.52 (Peddlers and Solicitors) of the Anaheim Municipal Code related to sidewalk vendors.
DISCUSSION:
On February 13, 2024, the City Council introduced the subject ordinance for amendments to Chapter 4.52 (Peddlers and Solicitors) of the Anaheim Municipal Code related to sidewalk vendors. A more detailed description of the proposed ordinance is provided in the attached February 13, 2024, City Council staff report (Attachment 2). If adopted, the ordinance will become effective in 30 days.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no impact to the City’s General Fund.
