DISNEYLANDFORWARD PROJECT

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, set a public hearing date of April 16, 2024, for the proposed vacation/abandonment of three segments of street right-of-way generally described as Magic Way lying between Walnut Street and Disneyland Drive, Hotel Way lying north of Disney Way, and Clementine Street lying south of Katella Avenue.
DISCUSSION:
This abandonment has been requested by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. (Applicant) as part of the DisneylandForward project (Project). The abandonment request is one of several applications the Applicant has made to the City, and a comprehensive discussion regarding the Project shall occur at an upcoming Council meeting. The scheduling of this public hearing is part of the general vacation procedures set forth by the Street and Highway Code.
IMPACT ON THE BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact for scheduling the public hearing.
