DISNEY and ANAHEIM agree that up to two (2) additional officers will be added to the Resort Policing Team for each new theme park, security screening station, new entrance, and/or new uses west of Disneyland Drive, unless the Chief and DLR’s Vice President of Security mutually agree more officers are required.
2.1.3. ANAHEIM agrees that the Police Officers assigned to the Disneyland Resort by the Chief pursuant to this Agreement will all be POST-certified Peace Officers and will at all times be under the sole direction, supervision, and control of the Chief or Chief’s designee.

The Parties recognize and expressly agree that DISNEY’s operational requirements fluctuate, including, by way of example, peak morning and peak afternoon times , special events, and special seasonal promotions such as Halloween and Holiday events. Both ANAHEIM and DISNEY agree that flexibility in the assignment of the Resort Policing Team and the Standard Schedule throughout the Term of this Agreement is a material element of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing , the Parties recognize and acknowledge that in certain circumstances, due to ANAHEIM’S municipal needs, the Chief may be unable to accommodate DISNEY’s request, whereupon the Chief or his/her authorized designee will meet with DISNEY’s Vice President of Security or his/her authorized designee to discuss and work to formulate an acceptable 3 modified schedule that most closely accommodates DISNEY ’s original request and ANAHEIM’s municipal needs.
2.2.6. Furthermore, from time to time ANAHEIM or the Chief may provide DISNEY notice that municipal circumstances require ANAHEIM to modify the Standard Schedule for a limited time, in which case the Standard Schedule shall be modified as provided in such notice.
2.2.7. The Parties understand and expressly agree that DISNEY shall reimburse ANAHEIM only for actual hours worked by the Resort Policing Team. If the Standard Schedule is modified pursuant to Section 2.2.5 or 2.2.6 above, DISNEY shall reimburse ANAHEIM only for actual hours worked by the Resort Policing Team pursuant to any such modification made to the Standard Schedule. A ny modification to the Standard Schedule exceeding one hundred eighty (180) consecutive days in duration may not be made by notice or informal conference, but shall require a written amendment to this Agreement.
