RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing the City of Anaheim’s 2024 Employee VIPs (Requested by City Staff).
Certificate: Recognizing the Anaheim Police Department for their leadership and participation in the 2024 Gun Buyback event (Requested by Mayor Aitken).
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
