Other Items
Additionally, we would like to retain the language in the fee resolution that authorizes the Executive Director to offer a half hall rate for shows that do not use an entire exhibit hall and to negotiate lower- than-adopted rates for labor, box office usage, equipment, and services, when necessary to attract exhibitions, conventions or events which would otherwise not utilize the Anaheim Convention Center.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:

The FY2024/2025 fee increases are estimated to be $2,345,652.00 and are included in the proposed FY2024/25 budget of the Convention Center Enterprise Fund.

Respectfully submitted,
Thomas Morton
Executive Director
Convention, Sports, and Entertainment Department
