RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, set a public hearing of July 23, 2024, for the proposed vacation/abandonment of five excess segments of public access and street right-of-way lying west of Anaheim Boulevard lying directly south of Midway Drive and adjacent to 200 West Midway Drive.
DISCUSSION:
This abandonment has been requested by the developer, Encore Anaheim LLC, a Delaware LLC, in order to assemble the proposed abandoned street right-of-way with the adjacent properties at 200 West Midway Drive for the development of a housing development. If vacated, the City would reserve any applicable easement for existing public utilities.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact for scheduling the public hearing.
