RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, receive and file the list of Professional Services Agreements signed by the City Manager in July 2024 and the list of Visit Anaheim Subcontractor Agreements approved by the Executive Director of Convention, Sports, and Entertainment in July 2024.
DISCUSSION:
In accordance with Council Policy 4.1, the City Manager is authorized by City Council resolution to execute, ratify and amend contracts and agreements (“contracts”) in cases where the compensation payable under the contract does not exceed $200,000. Contracts that exceed the City Manager’s authority shall be placed on the City Council Agenda for approval, with a summary of the basis used to select the recommended consultant.
The award of professional consultant contracts valued at $25,000 or more shall be published on the City’s website within 72 hours after an agreement is finalized and notification shall be provided to the City Council once an agreement has been posted.
At the October 24, 2023 City Council meeting, the City Council directed staff to agendize a monthly list of Professional Services Agreements (PSAs) in which the City Manager’s signing authority was used. Attached to this staff report is a list of PSAs that the City Manager signed in the previous month.
At the request of the Mayor, staff will include a monthly list of Visit Anaheim Subcontractor Agreements approved by the Executive Director of Convention, Sports, and Entertainment. Attached to this staff report is a list of Visit Anaheim Subcontractor Agreements approved in the previous month.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
