1. CALL TO ORDER: The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:39 p.m. by Chair Beas.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chair Beas led the Board in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: None.
4. SCHEDULED COMMUNICATION: None.
5. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Chair Beas presented the July 14, 2022 meeting minutes to the Board Members for changes and/or corrections. Vice Chair Barnett made a motion to approve the July 14, 2022 meeting minutes, Second by Board Member Kleine; motion was approved with four votes in favor. Chair Beas accepted the minutes.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. A. FY2022/2023 CDBG Funding Cycle Update; Joe Perez reported that the applications for CDBG will be accepted until November 28, 2022
B. FY22/23 CDBG Funding Cycle and Timeline- Joe Perez Provided to the board the upcoming deadline and next steps for those that apply for the CDBG funding. a. Pre-application Conference
b. CDBG Applications Due Date
c. Non-Profit Agency Presentations
7. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: Joe Perez presented to the Board the Fall Anaheim Magazine, Community Wide Health Fair on November 12th and 13th at the Anaheim Convention Center. Day of the Dead Event is set for October 28, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the Fall Festival will be on October 29, 2022 starting at 11 a.m. more information available at anaheimfallfestival.org.
8. ADJOURNMENT: Chair Beas adjourned the meeting at 6:14 p.m. and reported the next meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.
