1. CALL TO ORDER: The Community Services Board meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Vice Chair Barnett.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Vice Chair Barnett led the Board in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. UNSCHEDULED PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: None.
4. SCHEDULED COMMUNICATION:
a) Introduction of New Board Members;
Joe Perez introduced new Board Member, Nicole Rupp and asked her to introduce herself to the Board.
5. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Vice Chair Barnett presented the January 26, 2023, meeting minutes to the Board Members for changes and/or corrections. Board Member Kleine made a motion to approve the January 26, 2023 meeting minutes, seconded by Board Member Shah; motion was approved with four votes in favor. Vice Chair Barnett accepted the minutes.
6. NEW BUSINESS:
A. FY 21/22 CDBG Non-Profit Agency Performance Report
Joe Perez presented to the board a report of how CDBG funds were used for FY 21/22 from agencies that applied for that year.
B. FY 23/24 CDBG Funding Cycle
a) Preliminary Non-Profit Funding Recommendation;
Joe Perez presented to the board the funding request from each agency. Board members made final recommendations per their service needs on their CDGB application.
7. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS: Joe Perez informed the board of the upcoming Volunteer Recognition Luncheon on March 29th at the City National Grove of Anaheim.
8. ADJOURNMENT: Vice Chair Barnett adjourned the meeting at 6:29 p.m. and reported the next meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 5:30 p.m.
