RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, ratify proclamations recognizing Council Member Jose Diaz and Council Member Stephen Faessel for their service on the Anaheim City Council.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Ratify Proclamations: Recognizing Council Member Jose Diaz and Council Member Stephen Faessel for their service on the Anaheim City Council. (Requested by Mayor Aitken).
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
