RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, adopt the Measure M2 Expenditure Report, which accounts for Measure M funds, developer/traffic impact fees and funds expended by the jurisdiction that satisfy the Maintenance of Effort Requirement and authorize the Finance Director to sign and submit the expenditure report to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA).
DISCUSSION:
In order to be eligible to receive funding from Measure M, each jurisdiction in Orange County must adopt an annual Expenditure Report to account for Measure M funds, developer/traffic impact fees, and funds expended by the jurisdiction that satisfy the Maintenance of Effort Requirement. The expenditure report must be signed by the Finance Director and a council resolution attesting to the adoption is required.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact from this report. This action is part of the overall compliance effort that ensures the City continues to be eligible for Measure M funding.
