RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognize Anaheim Union High School District Student Ambassadors and the student representative to the Board of Trustees. (Requested by Council Member Leon)
Certificate: Recognizing James Oregel for his commitment to Anaheim High School Football Booster Club since 1973. (Requested by Council Member Rubalcava) IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
