A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE
PERSONNEL RULES AND POLICIES
COVERING NON-REPRESENTED FULL-TIME
AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES, AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 2024-079 AND
2025-002
WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and compensation plan; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non-Represented Full- Time and Part-Time Employees provides policies, procedures, and other terms and conditions of employment for unrepresented employees; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated April 22, 2025, that the need exists to establish policies, procedures, and other terms and conditions of employment for employees serving in the Firefighter Trainee classification; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending Personnel Rules Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Personnel Rules Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be amended and replaced in their entirety, as provided in Exhibit 1 attached hereto.
SECTION 2.
The effective date of this Resolution shall be April 25, 2025.
SECTION 3.
Resolution Nos. 2024-079 and 2025-002 are repealed effective April 25, 2025.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
