RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, amend Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2024-107 which establishes dates and times of regular Council meetings for calendar year 2025 [rescheduling the regular meeting of May 20 to May 27, 2025].
DISCUSSION:
Near the close of each calendar year, City Council approves a council meeting calendar for the upcoming calendar year. City Charter Section 506 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month at such times as fixed by resolution.
At the October 29, 2024 meeting, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2024-107, which established the days and times of regular meetings of the City Council. The item is being presented at the Mayor’s request to cancel and reschedule the May 20 meeting to May 27, 2025.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
