The work consists of sewer improvements in Brookhurst Street north of Lincoln Avenue. The existing 8-inch sewer main that crosses from west to east will be abandoned including the existing siphon. This work also includes the removal and replacement of a sag along the westerly sewer main.
The bid price reflects the current bidding environment, appears to be reasonable and is within the available funding. Liquidated damages for this Project shall be $1,000 per day. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025 and should be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025.
This Project supports Anaheim’s Strategic Plan Goal C - Invest in Infrastructure and Amenities, specifically Strategy No. 13 – “Address deferred and ongoing maintenance needs”.
