A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE LIBRARY BOARD OF THE
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRA RY AMENDING CERTAIN FINES
AND FEES
WHEREAS, the Library Board of the Anaheim Public Library, in its meetings of March 10, 2025, recommended amending the fines and fees as set forth below; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that cer tain fines should be eliminated and certain fees should be established and/or decreased at this time in the manner hereinafter specified; and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adopted do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and WHEREAS, the following fee s have bee n considere d a t a duly noticed public hearing.
NOW, THEREF ORE, BE I T RESOLVE D by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the fine s and fee s schedule a s set forth on Exhibi t "A" attache d hereto and incorporated herein by reference are hereby established;
2. That the amende d fines a nd fee s se t for th in Exhibi t "A" attache d here to shall become effective on July 1, 2025;
3. That from the date of adoption of this Resolution until amended or rescinded, the fines and fees established by this resolution shall remain in effect; and
4. The fees established herein shall upon the effect ive date of suc h fines and fees, supersede any previously adopted fines or fees for the same services or items.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as inconsistent herewith, Resolution No. 66R-286 and Resolution No. 92R-133 shall remain in full force and effect. 2 THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this ______day of_______________, 2025, by the following roll call vote:
