RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, ratify a recognition and approve a recognition to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Ratify Certificate: Recognizing Head Consul of Mexico in Santa Ana, Audrey Rivera Gómez, for her work in the community. (Requested by Mayor Aitken) Certificate: Recognizing Anaheim business owner, Frank Miser, for turning 100 years old on October 13. (Requested by Mayor Aitken)
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
