roject: Advanced Dilemma Zone and Left Turn Modification Project at Seven Locations - Brookhurst Street at Ball Road, Brookhurst Street at La Palma Avenue, Euclid Street at Crescent Avenue, Harbor Boulevard at Lincoln Avenue, Magnolia Avenue at Lincoln Avenue, Magnolia Avenue at Broadway and Knott Avenue at Ball Road
The work to be done consists of the upgrade of seven (7) existing traffic signals for dilemma zone detection technology and left turn phasing operation improvements. This shall include installation of advanced dilemma zone detection systems; traffic signal poles; foundations; signal heads; signal controller and cabinet; conduit; pull boxes; conductors; accessible pedestrian signals; traffic signing; removal and reconstruction of ADA access ramps; concrete sidewalk and all additional work necessary to properly construct the proposed improvements, in accordance with the contract documents. The goal of this project is to provide for the safe and efficient movement of vehicle and pedestrians at the project intersections.
