RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, authorize the issuance of Purchase Order# 515- 407496 to PRE Sales, Inc., for the purchase of banquet tables for the Anaheim Convention Center, in an amount not to exceed $108,000 plus applicable sales tax; and authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute all necessary contractual documents, all in accordance with Invitation for Bids (IFB)# 9866.

The solicitation required bidders to submit firm pricing, inclusive of all freight, delivery, tariffs, and handling charges, for 800 round banquet tables meeting the Convention Center’s detailed specifications, including a minimum 10-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials, workmanship, and performance under normal use conditions. Specifications include birchwood table tops with full-perimeter rubber edging, heavy-duty bolt-thru wood runners for stacking stability, chrome folding wishbone legs with protective floor caps, and delivery of all tables fully preassembled.
These tables will replace existing units that are more than 15 years old and have become damaged and unusable due to normal wear and tear. Replacement of this equipment is necessary to ensure that Anaheim Convention Center can continue to provide first-class services and maintain high-quality standards for clients.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Sufficient funds are available in the Convention Center FY 2025/26 budget.
