FROM: FINANCE DEPARTMENT
SUBJECT: AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE REPLACEMENT DANCE

GOVERNMENT CODE § 84308 APPLIES: NO
RECOMMENDATION:

That the City Council, by Motion, authorize the issuance of Purchase Order No. 515- 407201 to Mity-Lite, Inc., for the purchase of replacement dance floor panels for the Anaheim Convention Center, in an amount not to exceed $185,003.24 plus applicable sales tax; and authorize the Purchasing Agent, or designee, to execute all necessary contractual documents, all in accordance with Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. 9869.

Authorization to Purchase Dance Floor Panels for the Anaheim Convention Center January 13, 2026

Page 2 of 2 ends

Alliance Network Integrators LLC $ 235,500.00
Plainfield, IL
Bidders were required to provide firm pricing, inclusive of freight, handling, and any applicable tariffs, for 200 magnetic dance floor panels (2 kits) with all necessary corner sets, edge ramps, and transport carts fully compliant with the specified Mity-Lite Magnattach V3 configuration, accessories, and Beigewood finish.

After more than 40 years of service, the existing Anaheim Convention Center dance floor panels and components have reached the end of their useful life. The inventory currently shows significant wear, resulting in escalating labor/maintenance costs and potential safety risks for event attendees. The proposed new panels are fully compatible with the existing viable inventory, allowing for a phased integration that maximizes the value of current assets while avoiding the cost of a full system replacement. This investment ensures the Convention Center continues to provide a safe, reliable, and high-quality experience for all clients and banquet attendees.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:

Sufficient funds are available in the Convention Center FY 2025/26 budget.

Respectfully submitted, Concurred by,
Deborah A. Moreno Thomas Morton, Executive Director
Finance Director / City Treasurer Convention, Sports, and Entertainment
