RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve a recognition to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following has been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing Orange County Peloteros, a local Anaheim baseball team, for winning back-to-back championships and giving back to the community. (Requested by Council Member Norma Campos Kurtz)
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
