of the filter and feature pumps.)

6. All drainage valve points for winterization on the WQMS must be emptied and left in the OPEN position.

7. The filter and feature pumps are either equipped with two thumb twist drain plugs or associated ball valves.

8. Do not wrap the motor in plastic --- the resulting condensation can promote rusting within the motor interior.

9. The sand filter's multiport valve should be left in the WINTERIZE position during the shutdown season so that the valve diverter does not pressure the rubber seal.

10.The sand filter is equipped with a drain cap located at the bottom of the filter.

11.The chemical probes must be removed from the flow cell. Place them in a small sealed container that keeps the probe tips immersed in water so that they never dry out. Store chemical probes at room temperature. The flow cell can be winterized by opening the test point valve.

12.The Y strainer should be removed, cleaned, and stored in a safe place.

13. Remove any unused chemicals from the chemical containers. When handling chemicals, always wear protective clothing and eyewear.(Never mix chlorine and muriatic acid)

14. Replace the spray caps on flush mounted spray products (i.e., ground sprays, donuts, and tunnels, etc.) with winter caps to keep water out of the plumbing system.

15. Rotate directional spray nozzles to the closed position.

16. Spray nozzles on above ground play products and activation caps may be left in place.
