RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing District 5 resident Nathan Enriquez for his Mater Dei Varsity Soccer accomplishments. (Requested by Council Member Kristen Maahs) Certificate: Recognizing South Jr. High School Leadership for their 2026 Civic Learning Award of Excellence. (Requested by Council Member Kristen Maahs) IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
