The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) will host a series of major upcoming events, including D23 Fan Expo, NAMM, and BlizzCon, which attract significant attendance and require lighting to be at optimal levels to properly support their programming. In addition, a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the installation will be provided by Musco to ensure the highest possible results are achieved for the new LED sport light fixtures and control system.
A cooperative contract will be utilized for this procurement as authorized by Council Policy 4.0 (Purchasing Procedures). Leveraging cooperative contracts allows municipalities to maximize resources, enhance service delivery, and benefit from the collective purchasing power of multiple public agencies. The City will utilize Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement No. 041123-MSL, which was competitively Authorization to Purchase Replacement Arena Sports Lights June 9, 2026
