RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve a recognition to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following has been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Certificate: Recognizing The Quick Track Club, a group of 7 youth athletes who competed at the USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Shelbyville, Indiana. (Requested by Council Member Natalie Meeks)
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
