A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING ESTABLISHING TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES
REPRESENTED BY THE INTERNATIONAL
BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS,
LOCAL 47 – PART-TIME SERVICE EMPLOYEES
UNIT
WHEREAS, Chapter 1.06 of the Anaheim Municipal Code establishes the employer- employee relations system for the City of Anaheim (“City”); and WHEREAS, Chapter 1.06, Section 1.06.100 requires the Memorandum of Understanding to be presented to the Anaheim City Council (“City Council”) for determination; and WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 47 (“IBEW”), Part-Time Service Employees, adopted by Resolution No. 2023-089, expired December 31, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of a successor Memorandum of Understanding with IBEW, executed on July 6, 2026, is in the best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the Memorandum of Understanding between IBEW and the City of Anaheim as set forth in the document attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, be and the same is hereby adopted and that the effective date of such Memorandum of Understanding shall be January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the authorized salary schedule in said Memorandum of Understanding in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations section 570.5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2023-089 is hereby superseded effective July 17, 2026.
