RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, amend Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2026-021 which establishes dates and times of regular Council meetings for calendar year 2026 [rescheduling the regular meeting of September 15 to September 22, 2026].
DISCUSSION:
Near the close of each calendar year, City Council approves a council meeting calendar for the upcoming calendar year. City Charter Section 506 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month at such times as fixed by resolution.
At the March 24, 2026 meeting, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2026-021, which amended the dates and times of regular meetings of a previously approved meeting calendar. The item before the City Council is to amend the 2026 meeting calendar to cancel and reschedule the September 15 meeting to September 22, 2026.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
