RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, ratify recognitions and approve a recognition to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Ratify Certificate: Recognizing Andy Nogal for his retirement as City of Anaheim’s Housing and Community Development Deputy Director (Requested by Staff). Ratify Certificate: Recognizing Marco Lucero for his retirement as City of Anaheim’s Housing and Community Development’s Workforce Development Manager (Requested by Staff).
Certificate: Recognizing the 50th Anniversary of the Sister City relationship between the City of Anaheim and Mito, Japan (Requested by Staff).
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
