REGULAR SESSION
The regular session was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Also present: City Manager Joey Forseth-Deshais, City Attorney Collin Bogener, Acting Police Chief Nathan Ramirez and City Clerk Christy White.
INVOCATION
Councilmember Mike Gallagher gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilmember Dan Gallier led the Pledge of Allegiance.
INTRODUCTIONS
Acting Finance Director Cindy Wheeler introduced new Account Clerk II Ashley Studer.
Ashley thanked Council for the opportunity and looks forward to working with the community.
Acting Finance Director Cindy Wheeler also introduced newly promoted Accountant Dina Duncan.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA
Lorna Ramsay from Upstate California Film Commission gave an update on the 2023 Annual Report.
CONSENT AGENDA
By motion made, second (Baugh/Gallier) and carried by a 5-0 vote, Council took the following action.
Approved the minutes of the regular meeting of February 20, 2024.
Received and filed warrant 31222 to 31278 in the amount of $102,527.09; Received and filed ACH in the amount of $62,466.09; Received and filed warrant 31279 to 31322 in the amount of $163,143.10.
Vote: AYES: Councilmembers Baugh, Gallier, Gallagher, Hunt and Mayor Neutze.
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
REGULAR AGENDA
CITY ATTORNEY
CONSIDER AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF ANDERSON DRUG FREE WORKPLACE POLICY REGARDING CANNABIS TESTING CONSISTENT WITH AB 2188 City Attorney Collin Bogener gave a staff report and answered questions from Council.
By motion made, seconded (Gallagher/Gallier) and carried by a 5-0 vote Council voted to Amend the City of Anderson Drug Free Workplace Policy regarding Cannabis testing.
Vote: AYES: Councilmembers Gallagher, Gallier, Baugh, Hunt and Mayor Neutze.
NOES:
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
COUNCIL REPORTS/COMMENTS
Councilmembers used this time to report on meetings and activities they participated in and to announce upcoming events.
STAFF REPORTS
Deputy Public Works Director Peter Wickenheiser gave an update on security cameras in the park.
