REGULAR SESSION
The regular session was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Also present: City Manager Joey Forseth-Deshais, City Attorney Collin Bogener and City Clerk Christy White.
INVOCATION
Ryan Wildauer, Neighborhood Church of Anderson/Cottonwood, gave the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilmember Melissa Hunt led the Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENTAIONS
Appreciation for the Anderson High School boys who assisted a citizen in need during an incident in the Anderson River Park.
Appreciation for Jeff Adams many years of service for the City of Anderson.
Recreation Supervisor Erin Luevano gave an update on summer activities and upcoming events.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA - None.
CONSENT AGENDA
By motion made, second (Hunt/Baugh) and carried by a 5-0 vote, Council took the following action.
Approved the minutes of the regular meeting of September 17, 2024.
Received and filed warrant 32924 to 32977 in the amount of $229,355.27; Received and filed ACH in the amount of $54,981.34; Receive and filed warrant 32978 to 33035 in the amount of $89,061.43. Received and filed ACH in the amount of $55,386.79.
Approved letter of Support for Visions of the Cross.
Adopted Ordinance No 862 (second reading) amending Chapters 17.60 of the Anderson Municipal Code regarding uses permitted with a residence or in a Residential District update and as introduced (first reading) on September 17, 2024.
Vote: AYES: Councilmembers Hunt, Baugh, Gallagher, Gallier and Mayor Neutze.
NOES: None.

EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT WITH OLIVER COLLINS AS CITY OF ANDERSON CHIEF OF POLICE
City Manager Joey Forset-Deshais gave a staf report and answered questions from By motion made, seconded (Hunt/Baugh) and carried by a 5-0 vote Council authorized the City Manager to sign an employment agreement with Oliver Collins as City of Anderson Chief of Police.
Vote: AYES: Councilmembers Hunt, Baugh, Gallagher, Gallier and Mayor Neutze.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
