I feel that the Hilltop House is an icon in the High Desert. It has deteriorated in the last years but I feel it's memory and legacy needs to be preserved. My husband had his 10 yr reunion there in 1977 so we have a connection to it. It needs to be preserved as much as possible or at least rebuilt in kind to be a great reunion. party. meeting venue. But preserve it's appearance as an icon of our history in the High Desert.
