Unfortunately I am not able to attend today's meeting. I am begging you to please look in to the horrible conditions of Apple Valley and how it is being run.
With all the tax dollars that the shelter is given I don't understand why it is not being run more efficiently? There is no reason or excuse for:
- The current inhumane conditions, pain and suffering the poor animals have to endure - The alarming high number of euthinezas
- The lack of communication with rescue groups
Why is the shelter not working with the rescue groups that have fosters and adopters for many of them? Why euthanize healthy dogs including mama dog with puppies when it is not necessary and a life could be saved? Why?
I am begging you to do something about this.
