The Kris Kelly foundation has posted videos of dog sitting in the blue box of deplorable conditions and feces and urine for days before they are killed. They are sitting in rooms of temperatures of over 100 degrees. This is unacceptable and atrocious.
There are significant concerns over the conditions of the animals in the Apple Valley shelter system period everyone knows that there is significant funding that goes into the shelter but where does the funding go? The food and medical care do not go towards the animals.
Animals are suffering and End up contracting significant contagious including parvo virus and distemper. Other shelters do not have this significant problem that Apple Valley Animal Services has. Sure, in the deep south TX and Tennessee, these horrible conditions are seen but we expect more from a city that has funding and council running it. This shelter is in fact one of the worst shelters in the world.
There is evidence of abuse and neglect of dogs sitting in horrible conditions, without any food or water and sitting next to their feces for a few days before they are killed. Why is this being done in the United States where there is significant funding of the shelters? Where is the funding going?
Who is in charge? Gina Whiteside with Brandie Lee? The excessively large salary of over a quarter of a million dollars to someone on medical leave who travels the world taking photographs of celebrities is atrocious abuse of the city of Apple Valley and CA system.
EVERYONE knows that there is significant corruption in the system between Devore shelter and Apple Valley. It is all about the money. Why are there not programs available to help vaccinate dogs and cats and spay neuter?
Our tax monies are used to abuse animals and pay for Gina and Brandie's high salaries and disability? The truth should be exposed.
Concerned citizens.
