I am so upset that the animal shelter conditions have been swept under the rug for so long. Why would you turn a blind eye to what is going on ? We need action. Why isn’t this shelter buying food ? Why is there no Veterinary on staff? Why are animals being put down when there is room ? Why are volunteers not being allowed. This doesn’t look good. I don’t judge I am willing to give the shelter a chance. I want full transparency and the public should be allowed to volunteer. Also why are vet technicians doing the euthanasia? It’s inhumane to kill any animal with no sedation! I know sedation costs money but damn is it about the money? I want to know how much this shelter gets yearly to operate? I would like to know where the money goes and it can’t just be the shelter directors salary ? The shelter hours are ridiculous. How is it possible to see a dog if I work 9am-5pm ? Are they doing anything to accommodate for the lacking in hours. Like posting videos or working with rescues that post videos for them if they don’t have the staff to do it? This is unacceptable we want answers ? Lizet Carrera
