To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing regarding Bruce, a German Shepherd formerly in your “care.” I am absolutely apalled by the treatment, or lack thereof, your shelter provided Bruce. This dog is now deceased, having been given little to no chance of rescue. Rescue organizations and potential adopters are not provided sufficient notice or opportunity to take action given your substandard set of operations and procedures.
I believe your facility should be charged with animal cruelty. The dogs you euthanize are tortured before death by being put into a "hot box?" You are truly disgusting and your facility should be shutdown. I do not support no kill shelters as I feel a life in a cage is no life, but instead of making the dog's last days the best days of it's life you throw them away DAYS before as they do not exist anymore.
In the end, this country and it's culture is to blame being allowed to breed dogs and treat animals as property VS sentient beings especially in some of these shithole states.
I thought California cared about animals.
But you are supposed to be the people who HELP these animals, yet you fail them. An investigation needs to be conducted against you.
