Dear Apple Valley Council members
Please overhaul Apple Valley shelter and hold them accountable for all the puppies & dogs that they have killed. - Many of the animals they killed HAD fosters or adopters.
Right now euth listed animals cannot be adopted. - A change in the WRONG direction!
The representatives that are responsible need to be replaced. Gina Whiteside should not be allowed to travel the world, doing ANOTHER full time job, while she does NOTHING for the shelter animals, and we taxpayers pay for neglecting her responsibilities. What kind of example are you setting there....
A rescue coordinator needs to be found who does NOT euthanize, but works with rescues to SAVE lives.
72 hour notices should be given to all rescue partners and be available to the PUBLIC.
The contract with SBC needs to be cancelled, so the shelter can stop the killing and begin to save lives, which should be their job in the first place.
My congregation agrees on this and we are many, as you can also see from petitions signed to change AVAS.
Somebody needs to do right by these poor animals.
Please save your town's reputation and do the right thing.
