Apple Valley city council,
I am asking for continued transparency and accountability for the Apple valley shelter. My ask is for AVAS need to be added to the agenda and have goals set for change. My ask is that you involve the rescue community members and advocates that network the current AVAS pets.

San Bernadino residents want more from this shelter as it services so many areas, not just the city of Apple valley. Over and over, you have received public outcry on this matter and yet as time goes by it appears that Apple Valley city council does not care about the shelter.

In order to have a higher success rate in adoption you need to engage others in the community, which is why I am asking for AVAS to be put on the agenda as change is needed and these are the people who can help you be successful.

We can all agree that this is a crisis and in will take more than what is being done to get a resolution that is beneficial for the community. This is a time where innovation and creativity are needed to make changes.

I ask that you add AVAS to the agenda and give it the opportunity to make change.

Thank you
Rebeca Camacho
