It is recommended that the Town of Apple Valley (“Town”) Council:
Conduct a public hearing and receive comments on the draft 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funds.
Approve the Community Development Citizen Advisory Committee (CDCAC) funding recommendations for the 2024-2025 Third-Year AAP, an annual component of the Five-Year 2022-2026 Consolidated Plan (“Consolidated Plan”).
Provide Town Staff with a methodology to distribute funds should the Town’s 2024-2025 CDBG and HOME annual allocation increase or decrease.
Authorize the Town Manager to execute all necessary HUD documents on behalf of the Town
