Approve Resolution No. 2026-26, A Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Apple Valley, California, amending the Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual for the Town of Apple Valley.

8.1 ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING AND APPROVAL OF SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY CONTRACT AND USE OF QUIMBY FUND MATCH FOR THE CIVIC CENTER PARK PICKLEBALL COURTS PROJECT

That the Town Council:
Accept funding and approve the contract with the County of San Bernardino in the amount of $675,000 towards the construction of the Civic Center Park Pickleball Courts Project.
Authorize the Town Manager to execute the County contract and any associated non-substantive documents necessary to administer the agreement.
Approve the use of Quimby Act Funds to satisfy the Town's required 25 percent local match for the project.
Authorize staff to advertise the project for competitive bids and return to the Town Council for award of a construction contract in accordance with the Town's Purchasing Policy.
Recommended Motion:
