City Council - Study Session - February 12, 2025
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Stillman called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Stillman invited public comment.
Public Comment:
Gregory Daggett, and Joanne McGarry.
Mayor Stillman closed the public comment period.
3. DISCUSSION
a.
Review Committee Goals with City Council and Committee Chairs for 2025/2026 Fiscal Year.
Discussion was had between the City Council and Committee Chairs. No action was taken on this item. Goals that were touched on during this discussion included:
Wetlands and Creeks Committee: Jolly Giant Creek rehabilitation.
Energy Committee: Environmental costs and potential federal changes.
Forest Committee: Forest carbon offsets, public access, and infrastructure work.
Parks and Recreation Committee: Funding, maintenance for both parks and the forest, advocacy for the Valley West area, and expanding programing.
Transportation Safety Committee: Paid parking, and increased daylighting near intersections.
Transactions and Use Tax Oversight Committee (TUTOC): Measure G oversight, and the upcoming request for TUTOC to oversee Measure H.
Historic Landmarks Committee: Nomination of the Plaza as a historic place.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:14 p.m.
