Mayor White called the meeting to order at 3:33 p.m.

Mayor White read a statement acknowledging that the City sat on ancestral Wiyot land.

Mayor White led the Pledge of Allegiance.

City Clerk Varley called roll.

Mayor White invited public comment.
There being none, Mayor White closed the public comment period.

City Manager Perry presented regarding the proposed resolution opposing offshore oil and gas drilling along the Northern California Coast.
ON MOTION BY STILLMAN, SECONDED BY ATKINS-SALAZAR, AND WITH A THREE-TO-ZERO VOICE VOTE WITH TWO ABSENCES, THE COUNCIL ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 256-34 OPPOSING OFFSHORE OIL AND GAS ALONG THE CALIFORNIA NORTH COAST. AYES: WHITE, ATKINS-SALAZAR, STILLMAN. NOES: NONE. ABSENT: MATTHEWS, SCHAEFER. ABSTENTIONS: NONE.
