The Special Meeting of the Artesia City Council was called to order at 6:37 p.m., on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Albert O. Little Community Center by Mayor Ramoso.

MEETING PROCEDURES
THE ASSISTANT CITY CLERK READ THE MEETING PROCEDURES AS FOLLOWS:
Members of the public may attend to speak during public comment or on agenda items, as described below. In order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19) and pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Orders, Public observation and participation will be facilitated by the following means:
Members of the public may observe the meeting via livestream on the City’s website.
Members of the public may view the meeting and provide public comments in-person in the Albert O. Little Community Center subject to posted COVID-19 protocols.
Public comments may also be submitted by email at [email protected] or by leaving a voicemail at (562) 865-6262, extension 200. Comment submitted before 4:00 p.m. on the date of the meeting will be read until the time limit of three minutes has been reached.

ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PUBLIC COMMENTS
The Assistant City Clerk presented the Announcement Regarding Public Comments, and reported that there were no public comments received.
RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION

Mayor Ramoso announced the closed session items.
The City Council recessed into Closed Session.
RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened in Open Session.
CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney announced that there was no reportable action.

Mayor Ramoso adjourned the Special Meeting at 7:17 p.m.
