Mayor Ramoso called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Present: Mayor Ramoso, Mayor Pro Tem Manalo (via teleconference), Councilmembers Lima, Taj, and Trevino
Staff Present: Interim City Manager Egan, Deputy City Manager Burke, Acting City Clerk Alderete, Finance Manager Murguia, and City Attorney Nguyen.

STAFF REPORT
1. Discussion item regarding the regulation and process for permitting cannabis sales and businesses within the City following Voter Approval of the Cannabis Tax Measure in November 2020.
Deputy City Manager Burke presented on item. Interim City Manager Egan and City Attorney Nguyen provided information. Town| Hall Discussion commenced; William Zylstra, and Christopher Houston public submitted via email was read. Dan Rocha, Jonathan Zacarias, Paul de Medeiros, Marcia Alfaro, Michael Wagner, Gene Ramirez, and Carl Fonseca provided public comment. Mayor Ramoso, Mayor Pro Tem Manalo, Councilmembers Trevino, Taj, and Lima asked questions and/or provided comments addressing public comments. City Manager Egan, Deputy City Manager Burke, and City Attorney Nguyen provided additional information.
