1. CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Taj called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Taj, Mayor Pro Tem Trevino, Councilmembers Ahir, Manalo, and Ramoso.
Staff Present: City Manager Avalos, Deputy City Manager Burke, City Attorney Nguyen, City Clerk Alderete.
3. STUDY SESSION
This Item was removed from the agenda.
4. ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PUBLIC COMMENTS
Public comments could be provided, in person or submitted by email to publiccommentspcityofartesia.us by 12:00 p.m. on the date of the meeting. No public comments were provided.
5. RECESS TO CLOSED SESSION
The City Council recessed to discuss the closed session items listed on the agenda at 6:31 p.m.
The City Council will recess to closed session to discuss the following items:
5A. Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation Significant Exposure to Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) Number of cases: 2
6. RECONVENE IN OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened in open session.
7. CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Nguyen reported that there was no reportable action.
