A Public Hearing to Consider Adoption of An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Arvin Amending Title 2, Chapter 2.24, Section 2.24.030 Planning Commission Duties and Chapter 8.29 Marijuana of Title 8 Health and Safety by Amending Section 8.29.05 Commercial Cannabis Activity. (City Planner) Staff recommends the City Council consider adopting the Ordinance to be read by title only, open the hearing, allow for public testimony, close the hearing, waive second reading of the Ordinance, and approve the adoption of the Ordinance.

Staff recommends approval of the Resolution approving an Employment Agreement with Jeff Jones as City Manager/Finance Director; and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
Motion to approve the Resolution approving an Employment Agreement with Jeff Jones as City Manager/Finance Director with addition to Section 3.080.010 of the Arvin Municipal Code; and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.

Motion to approve the Proposal between Kosmont Realty and the Successor Agency to the Arvin Community Redevelopment Agency and the City of Arvin for Pre-Disposition Real Estate Advisory/Due-diligence Services and Brokerage Services and Authorize the City Manager to execute the Proposal in accordance to Section 3.08.110C of the Arvin Municipal Code.
