MINUTES

Mayor Bourbeau called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Bourbeau, Mayor Pro Tem Dariz, Council Member Funk, Council Member Newsom, Council Member Peek
Absent: None
Staff Present: City Manager James R Lewis, Assistant City Manager/City Clerk Lara Christensen, Deputy City Clerk Alyssa Slater B. INTERVIEWS AND APPOINTMENTS
1. Planning Commission
City Clerk Recommendation: Council interview the candidates and select by roll call, one citizen to fill the vacant, unexpired at-large term on the Planning Commission.
The City Council interviewed five candidates for the vacant At-large position on the Planning Commission.
Motion by Council Member Peek
Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dariz
Council select Joey Ferrel to the vacant, unexpired at-large term on the Planning Commission.

2. Announcement of Appointment
The City Council Members announced their selection of Joey Ferrel to the vacant At-large position on the Planning Commission.

D. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Bourbeau adjourned the meeting at 5:59 PM to the next Regular Session scheduled on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
